Lumber Tycoon 2 secret quest

The secret quest is the longer hidden chain behind the new Lumber Tycoon 2 badge searches. Treat it as a sequence of checkpoints, not one puzzle: normal task, Skeleton permission, orange globe, purple-room objects, bunker delivery.

Secret quest vs. normal quest

The normal quest is the wood-delivery task tied to Geck. The secret quest begins only after its prerequisites are met and leads to the hidden badge route. Finishing a wood delivery alone does not complete the secret quest.

The five checkpoint plan

Checkpoint 1: regular objective completed

Confirm the normal event task has fully registered on the slot you are using. If the game still treats the objective as unfinished, the later sequence may not activate.

Checkpoint 2: Skeleton permission

Reach the dark cave with an axe and Work Light. Talk to the Skeleton and accept the permission path before unwrapping/using the quest item.

Checkpoint 3: target orange globe

Open the event bags/items and identify the color-cycling globe. Stop when it is orange. Visual state matters more than copying an interaction count from an older video.

Checkpoint 4: purple-room collection

Place the target item into the correct lava-side mechanism, let the path open, and collect all three objects in the next room. A vehicle prevents a painful multi-trip carry.

Checkpoint 5: bunker matching

Unlock the bunker with the three inputs, then deliver its box items to their matching NPCs / plate. The in-game completion effect is your cue that the chain registered.

What changed from older secret-quest videos?

Early guides describe climbing with a plank and using dynamite to open the cave. Current player reports and updated walkthroughs describe an installed truss entrance instead. This means the cave can be accessible without the old entry-puzzle shopping list—but the dark interior, Skeleton permission, and later item sequence still matter.

Best practice: Keep your Purple Bag/item safe at base until you have permission, and use the current server prompt as the deciding source. The exact event route can be patched without old videos being updated.

Stuck at a checkpoint?

  • No secret progression: re-check main task completion and the event's own unlock rules.
  • Wrong globe state: cycle carefully and stop at orange; do not keep clicking after it changes.
  • Nothing opens after lava: verify the item went into the correct right-side opening and wait for the mechanism.
  • Missing final credit: make sure each bunker item reached its correct destination and complete the chain on your own player.
